He had told her? Really? She racked her brain silently as she stared upwards and attempted to remember the name. It couldn’t be that hard to remember one simple name, especially one of her clanmate, but she had really forgotten. She felt a little bad once she realized that, looking up towards him for just a moment before she shuffled softly and parted her jaws to speak, but she quickly snapped them shut when he spoke. “Ohhh—that’s right!! Robincall,” pausing, her gaze fluttered away as she tapped her little paw lightly “Robin..Robin..oh! Like the bird, right? I’ve heard warriors and apprentices talk about them,” Laurelkit puffed her chest out slightly as a bit of pride showed in her features, but there was nothing to be really proud about. A little scoff escaped her when Robincall said he was sure it wasn’t too boring. ”You don’t understand,” she had huffed out in a little kitten mew “you get to go out there and I’m stuck here, there’s nothing to do,” pausing, Laurelkit gained a little smile as she shifted from paw to paw “well, expect for when I hang out with my sister,” ah, Daisykit, her sweet sister.
Laurelkit seemed to perk up slightly when Robincall mentioned having to take the frog to the fresh-kill pile. She had been there before, obviously, but it seemed that much more exciting to go to it with a warrior. A little nod came from Laurelkit as she hopped up along beside Robincall and she began to conjure up what to say in response to his prompt. “Well..” Laurelkit had started off, blinking slowly around before seeming to remember what she wanted to say “when leaf-fall rolls around I like to see how many pretty leaves drift into the camp from the other territory,” oh that was one of her favorites! The leaves were oh so pretty and she got to chase them around before she practiced catching them in mid-air, she didn’t always succeed, but it was better than nothing! “Oh! And I play with my sister when she’s around,” a soft purr rumbled in Laurelkits chest as she gave a few quick nods. However, the little one suddenly seemed crestfallen as she took in a light breath “but the other kits don’t seem to like me much,” with a soft huff Laurelkit shook her head. “I don’t understand why, the queens say I have a temper, whatever that means,” a soft scoff came from the little kit as she stepped along beside the warrior.
