a small brown ginger shape slid through that shadows as a short fluffy tom poked his head around a corner. Dull blue eyes gazed at the hot springs in wonder, then as if time turned back on itself as he stepped out from the shadows. His bobbed tail flicked back and forth in nervous anticipation as Fawnspring took a few more hesitant steps forward bringing him up to the waters edge. Peering down at his reflection in the steaming warm water the short molly smiled happily as he darted a paw out and splashed the surface creating ripples that warped his reflection. To him this peaceful place was like wonderland but there where many dangers to this place as well. Chasing off his dark thoughts with barred fangs in his mind he happily walked around pleased to see his clan mates playing around.
His eyes trailed every pelt every face every shadow looking for his friend. Would he even be there no one knew it was up to wormbite to come. Even if his friend wasn’t here he would sure make the best of it that was certain. The warm air was surly different from the cool breeze he felt before but his long fur didn’t go well with the humid air floating around him. With a pleased smile he walked over towards a shadowed dip slightly away from where everyone else seamed to enjoy themselves. As he lay himself down his mind was filled with the images of wormbite his only true friend he could count on. From his gentle smile to his soothing voice Fawnspring just couldn’t get the tom out of his mind.
Some time had passed when he reopened his eyes, he was positive he had been away but he must have dozed off. Blinking awake, he yawned then got up to stretch his stiffening muscles before taking one last glance around. He was fairly certain that wormbite would love this place, maybe he could bring him here one night and stay up telling joes and stories with each other. It was days like those that kept the young tom happy most of the time at least. He let his paws carry him up the cliff careful not to dislodge any rocks on his way up, as he finally made it to the top. A breeze blew through his long fur causing it to fluff out making him look like a small cotton ball.
