The apprentice gave a dismissive snort, squinting their round eyes at the molly real hard. As if they were analyzing her every move before suddenly leaning away from Cloverpaw. Shamefully, a part of them stared a little bit too long at the leg she was missing. It wasn't entirely one filled with pity - admittedly, there was some, but mainly surprise Thunderclan had another cat like them. Now, their lack of hearing was entirely different than a whole missing leg but it was that detail that made Lotuspaw stare harder.

"Okay, so. I see that, I believe that but it - it - I was here first! You know? LIKE, I CAME HERE WAAYY BEFORE YOU!! They forced me to be Cloverkit, didn't even like the name, but you know what? I did it, I was Cloverkit and now I am not. Do you know why, Cloverpaw? Why?" Lotuspaw huffed, cocking their head to the right. Their ears pulling back, "Someone name Clover joined Thunderclan and now I am LOTUSPAW. It's not a bad name but like, it's the principal Cloverpaw. The ideal it holds, " Rather or not Cloverpaw genuinely wanted to input something, they were on a roll.

"And like, you know what I think? There was no winning for me here. You stole my name, Cloverpaw!! You did!! Sorry is.. not.. not enough!! Like, it's just - just.. okay, hear me out. If I was born here as Cloverkit, I would probably be Cloverpaw because I was here first and got the name first. It is a claim but - but no, no, no, my name was changed. It is.. it is giving..." Their face scrunched up with realization and their eyes widened with hurt, just a quick flash of how that was most likely the Lotuspaw's name was changed.

Sucking in a sudden breath, their glare shifted back to Cloverpaw. "So, why you steal it? Do you just not like me? Is that why? That's stupid then, like, not to be one to be prideful but you can ask Goldeneyes - I am SO cool. Coolest cat in this clan, so what are you, huh? Huh? Clover Cat?" Lotuspaw questioned, lifting up a furry paw to go and attempt to boop Cloverpaw's nose. It wasn't meant to be harmful - just to make a point.
