A small kit padded forward. Her collar bell jingling. Her name was Bella. She crouched. A noise made her turn. Her friend, Poppy, was on the wooden fence. " Are you going to be a forest cat?" Poppy mewed. " I think about it sometimes, Poppy." Bella meowed. " Forest cats eat bones and grow as big as badgers when they are angry!" Poppy mewed, scared. Bella slashed her fluffy brown tail. " Those are just rumors. I bet they aren't actually true." Bella meowed. Bella looked back into the sunlit forest. She could feel the warm breeze swirl around her. Poppy shook her fluffy white head and turned away. Forest cats began to stalk Bella. Bella gasped, scared. The cats eyes glared into hers. " Who are you?" growled a tom. " I- I'm Bella." Bella mewed. She bent her ears back. Her eyes widened. " I'm Sundust." The tom meowed. Bella was still scared. The cats looked at her like she was a bird the was walking and not flying.
