“Oof! Could you watch where you’re going?” Mallardstep grumbled his voice gravely with sleep. He flicked his tail in annoyance. It wasn’t like he was a kit! This cat would have to be blind to bump into him even while he was sleeping. He stretched his jaws in a long yawn, and muttered about cats these days despite his age.
Now I’ll have to fall back asleep! What a pain!
