ooh boy, mistpaw was awake now and she'd asked a super silly question. why? "so you guys dont die from boredom, duh!!" cornpaw answered, acting as though that should've been obvious. he quickly nodded when cinderpaw spoke, letting out an excited howl of laughter when she started spinning around with the centipede. "SPIN FASTER!! i bet centipedepaw is having so much fun!" he beamed. oh, the bug was definitely having fun, if you ignored the fact it was probably hanging on for dear life.

bushpaws high pitched, hysterical scream caused him to freeze, staring at the tom as he scurried over to the other side of the den. then, he broke out into a fit of giggles once again, clearly finding bushpaws terror hilarious. "don't be MEAN to centipedepaw!! or else..uh, you..GOTTA HUG HIM!" he suddenly decided, nodding so hard that his brain probably got knocked around.

the thud of mistpaw hitting the ground and the snow sprinkling down had him tempted to break out into loud laughter again, but he didn't get the chance, getting shoved to the side by....oh!! dogbark! wait, oh no, dogbark! cornpaw shuffled back, attempting to wipe the grin off his face (and failing.) "NOT A DUMB BUG!! its centipedepaw!" he blurted out, quick to defend the so called 'stupid bug'.

he was about to say something else until he heard the deputy laugh. well, not really a laugh, but it was definitely close enough for cornpaw!! he smiled at cinderpaw. this was all because of cinder and him!! mostly him, but also cinderpaw because she was slinging the centipede around .. and everyone else for screaming - but mostly him and cinderpaw. oh man, he was so proud. "you LAUGHED!!" he chimed, looking at dogbark before turning to the group of three horrified apprentices, and one that was throwing a bug around. "guys, i didn't know he could laugh." he mewed in a failed attempt of a whisper.
