The large tom sat near the cliff edge, peering down into the rocky depths below. He sank his claws in the ice-cold snow-covered earth before standing and padding back towards the center of the training cliffs. He was bored, just a bit. He was getting to the age where chasing tail wasn't more of a chore than anything. Wildwolf might have to take on an apprentice just to keep him busy. The hulking black cat took a seat near a crooked tree, wrapping his tail around his paws as he waited to see if there was anyone around worth sparring with. As lackadaisical as the gloom tom came off, slacking on fighting skills was terrible.

Snarlpaw's mentor hadn't been around, so he decided to go to the training cliffs to see if he could work with anyone else, when he spotted Wildwolf by himself. Perhaps the warrior would train him, or spar with him? They looked a bit alike, Snarlpaw being a large black tom apprentice, and Wildwolf be a large black tom warrrior, though Snarlpaw was quite spikey-furred.

"Want to train or spar?" Snarlpaw mewed with a nod to Wildwolf
