Though most amphibians weren’t known for their hearing, he felt it was appropriate to keep his voice down. “If it turns around, freeze unless you’re within leaping distance. I’ll show you again how to keep light on your paws, then I want you to try to sneak up on and catch that frog.”

Loonfeather demonstrated how to keep his weight lighter as he stepped, then waited for Snarlpaw to attempt to catch the frog.

Snarlpaw, being a very fast and lean tom, easily balanced his weight and snuck up on the frog. It was still distracted so he was able to leap and kill it.
