Re: Cattail Pond
The fact that only one herb could cure greencough was terrifying to Reedpaw. How long had it taken their ancestors to find this herb and figure out it“s use? How long were cats suffering with this illness with hardly anyway to get better? Truly, learning things like this made Reedpaw more and more grateful she hadn't been apart of the first generations of cats to arrive here. Nodding as Snakeheart explained what exactly greencough was, she could clearly be seen scrunching her nose slightly as she thought about how contagious this sickness was. If it was that easier for a cat to catch it, that meant acting fast and figuring out what in the world it was before it spread, plus knowing some of the prideful cats who sometimes didn't want to admit they were in anyway sick made Reedpaw a little surprised her mentor hadn't seen a breakout of it, and yet she was grateful. Supposing Snakeheart was expecting her to follow what he did with his catmint, the molly gently lifted a leaf of her own up before leaning over towards the freezing water and dipping it in. Afterwards she carefully laid it out beside Snakeheart“s and glanced back towards her mentor, awaiting his next part.
