Their frown tilted up into a small smile as Cinderpaw got back up, and they took a step towards the apprentice, "For now, I want to focus on the best ways to initiate a fight against an opponent. While running at them head on might be effective in some scenarios, its often best to come at an enemy from the side. That way they cant see you as easily, and you can use your size to your advantage to try and knock them over. You had the right idea, and even though you have very little experience you do seem to have good instincts. Keep your head up, lets try again."

As they were getting back into their fighting stance, a new voice made itself known. Shallowshiver sighed, their brow twitching as they turned to face Lightningpelt. Could he not see that they were in the middle of training? "I hope you arent doubting my abilities to teach an apprentice, Lightningpelt" their voice came out low and flat, tail giving a single lash behind them. "I am also starting to suspect that you have a bit of an ego, but thats neither here nor there." A small snort left them at Cinderpaws words, but they quickly put a straight face back on as the other warrior continued speaking. Warfang? Who the hell was that? The huge cat sighed, shifting their weight onto their left side before speaking up, "The cat who supposedly trained you does not make you more capable than the rest of us. If you are so insistent on training an apprentice, Im sure there are several back at camp with absent mentors that you could assist"
