Yet she had made her way outside the camp. Why? She didn't know, but she needed to do something, not just sit around like that a moment longer. Alone, suffocated by her thoughts. Kestrelstar had died, and at the meeting everyone had seemed to grieve, cry over the cold body, but as soon as that was over, so many cats had simply moved on so quick. Maybe it was that she was born outside the clan, where death wasn't seen as such a... common thing, or maybe she simply didn't like change, but she wasn't ready for things to move past their former leader's death.
So she had gone on a walk in the rain, and kept going forward without thinking where she was going, until a sound other than the wind and raindrops rang somewhere. Tired, silver-spotted pelt drenched in water, she looked up, and peered through the rain to try and make out who the cat - because it sounded like a cat - was. "Who's there."

Rainysky
He perked his ears, hearing a voice, finally one that wasn't in his head, call him. Or, at least ask something of him. If he runs into a clan cat, he'd be stuck. He wouldn't know what to do. Go with the flow. Growling, he stopped, shook his pelt, and stretched his body, eyes wide open, as he prepared himself for an encounter. The rain was falling harder now, making him squint in the foggy plains. "I'm here." He said plainly, staring at the direction of the call. His tail lightly ran over the wet grass, making him shiver at the sudden cold. Why was everything always so cold? StarClan just hates my old bones... He thought, sitting down, claws unsheathed. "What's your name." He called into the mist, not nessacarily asking a question, but more of an order. He was used to cats listening to him. He was a wise cat, cracked with age. Normally that helped him in camp, but he'll never know what he'd encounter outside of the clans.
