He was born in thunderclan as Russetkit. He took on a mate of his own, Mintpetal. She gave birth to his three kits. Later, she died in a raid, leaving him with her kits. A Thunderclan warrior loved Mintpetal as well, but was angry when she took him as a mate and had his kits. When she died, he saw a chance to take the kits. That night, he killed them. He was latter exiled and took on the name adder. Because of that, Russetbite ran away. In the morning, he was wounded and was taken into Windclan. There, his life became bland and quiet. He took on his warrior name of Sagebite.
