Daffodilkit's bubble of anxiety grew larger and larger, so big that it might pop any second. Shrinking away from the strange cat Daffodilkit's tiny mind raced. The cat hadn't answered their question. Maybe their name was Don't Worry. Probably not. Shaking slightly, the fluffy grey kit peered up at the she-cat with wide, terrified eyes.
"I...I.." they managed out in a soft whisper. WhoisthisDon'ttruststrangersshellkitnapme...

The kit's thoughts faded into nothing as they instinctively buried their head in their fur. They weren't outgoing or playful like their littermates. Why were they so different in the end?

"Who..Who are you?" they repeated, not daring to look up and backing away from the she-cat, heart pounding painfully against their ribs as they got as far away from the cat as possible.
