It was a quiet day for young Daffodilkit. They had woken up, eaten some food, filled their rumbling stomach and had avoided any socialising. In their view of the world, said socialising was an absolute nightmare. The long-furred grey kit closed their green eyes when a horrible sound made their paws twitch. What was that?
It was a kit noisily removing the decorations around her nest. Daffodilkit flinched at the mess she was making, and turned their back to it, flattening their ears to block the sound.
