The senior warrior was tired. Tired of everything. After slipping out from the apprentices den she caught sight of Rainpaw up on the Thunderwillow and shock rippled through her. How was she back on her paws so soon? From the way Cloudypaw had described the attack, it seemed like it had been life or death. Now here she was... seemingly not held back in the slightest by her injuries. Had Cloudypaw been exaggerating the attack?

Cindersky decided to not speak on it for now and instead remainestanding near the back of the clearing, her head turned as her eyes fell onto the Thunderwillow. Some cat should probably call her down. No one had stepped up. Dawnstar had left willingly. But for now, she just remained silent.

It was a funny thing, stepping up. Cindersky, unbeknownst to many other than those who had been involved, had been stepping up. She had been secretly setting up training sessions and gathering cats around to eventually drive out Dawnstar. But now... Dawnstar and ShadowClan were leaving, and no fight would likely occur. It made her want to bristle, hearing Rainpaw speak the way she did. But that was perhaps just her own selfishness talking, and Cindersky was anything but. So she kept her fur flat and jaw shut, somewhat of a glaze already infiltrating her eyes.
