Twilightstar pushed through her physical discomforts, she needed to be outside of the camp and medicine cat's den. Her legs worked and fresh air would do her well.
After visiting the Sky Glade, pleased to find it free of ShadowClan's pelts and scents, she began making her way towards the outskirts border out of habit. While she walked she noticed a number of rabbits in the territory, she did not disturb any of them as much as her instincts screamed at her to do so. She was no where near hunting condition, Cowpaw had enough on his paws dealing with the warriors who had returned from the battle with ShadowClan. She didn't need to worry him because she passed out or fell over trying to hunt.
On her way there she found some poppy seeds, taking two to ebb the throbbing headache, Twilightstar reminded herself to bring some back to Cowpaw on her way back to camp. As her small paws brushed along the well traveled path, she stooped as the wind brought to her a scent. She still had a few more fox lengths to cover before she reached the outskirts, but she still able to pick up the scent of an outsider. Continuing to move at her simple pace, she parted her maw closer to the border and winced as her ribs poked her nerves with pain. Bypassing the sensation, she found the unknown scent stronger and fresh. It appeared she had company at the border. It would be nice if it was a missing clanmate.
Covering the distant, her green eye landed on an old tom waiting paitencently. On closer inspection, Twilightstar found the cat to be a member of ThunderClan... or former member maybe? She hasn't seen him at any of the Gatherings in sometime. His scent told her that he hadn't visited ThunderClan in a while. "Albatrossflare," Twilightstar greeted the cat curtly while staring at him with curiosity. "What brings you to WindClan?" Normally she'd question him about ThunderClan, but considering his scent it would be a waste of time. The WindClan leader was still a little salty with ThunderClan, yet kept most of her disdain to herself. Albatrossflare was a bit too old for her to be rude too, not to mention she didn't have anything personal with him.

>Albatrossflare<Albatrossflare turned his head, and his eyes fell to Twilightstar. A well-practiced smile slid easily over his features, placid and polite. He dipped his head to her as she greeted him. "Twilightstar. A welcome surprise. I hope prey is running well in WindClan." He had been fully expecting to be questioned by a patrol, but WindClan's leader herself was a much more welcome sight. At least he knew she would be reasonable.
"I wish not to waste your time, so I will cut straight to the point: After some time away from the territories, I have come to request to join you in WindClan, should you allow me to. I have enemies in ThunderClan and I fear I would be putting myself in danger should I attempt to return. They were rather unreasonable the last I saw of them; I doubt they have changed since and am wary to show myself there again."
