Pride swelled in his chest. These apprentices had certainly proved themselves enough to be warriors. He was excited for them, especially when he saw how excited and surprised they were. They truly deserved this after fighting in such a gruesome battle. Their mentors should be proud to see that their hard work had paid off. They would all make fine warriors! He was excited to be able to welcome cats as skilled as them into the warrior’s den.

A hiss through him off. Did some cat really not want this to happen? He turned his head to look at Deadflame with wide eyed shock. Mushiness? Was this warrior real? Was-was he being serious? Shock quickly turned to annoyance as his mind rapped around what was happening. “This is a special day for them. Don’t ruin it. You can always leave.” He whispered to the other warrior. He tried to keep his voice polite. He wasn’t old or experienced enough to be telling cats off. However he couldn’t keep his ear from flicking with impatience. Didn’t this warrior remember his own ceremony? How special it was? How exciting and magical? Maybe that was just his whimsy that made him remember his own like that. Still it was still unacceptable for a warrior to boo another cat’s ceremony.
