There had been a shortage of Fernpaw in his day, and Hickorykit decided he was going to change that. Tip-toeing into the apprentices den as quietly as he could all while trying to muffle his giggles (and failing horrendously), he made a beeline straight to where his hopefully unsuspecting uncle was. "GRAHHHH!" he shouted while leaping through the air, hoping to smush the apprentice in a pile of snuggles, "Hi Fernpaw! Whatcha doing?" he whispered in Fernpaws ear, smiling widely.
