Beepaw had been quietly transfixed on Twilightstar the entire meeting, yellow eyes glittering in admiration and wonder. When she heard she'd be getting new denmates, her ears perked. Maybe Laurelpaw and Hickorypaw would make good friends? Being an apprentice has been extremely boring, in her opinion, so maybe a few new faces around the nest would liven her spirits?

Then it was time for Rabbitpaw's warrior ceremony. Beepaw sprung to her paws with joy. This would be her one day! And she couldn't wait! Respectfully, she was sure to call out the new warrior's name: "Rabbitbrair! Rabbitbriar! Rabbitbriar! Wooo!" She let herself bounce a few times, but she tried to keep reserved among her Clanmates. She didn't want them thinking she was crazy or faking or overselling it...Beepaw took a seat at that thought. Her cheeks were hot and puffy now.

As Twilightstar went on, Beepaw cocked her head at the new faces. Bugpaw, Deadmoon, Rockscreech, Shadowheart, Streampelt, Albatross....something...there were a lot more newcomeres than she expected! It was hard for her to tell if this was a good or bad thing, since she didn't have any opinions formed on outsiders or the other Clans yet. But if Twilightstar was willing to accept them, then she should be willing to trust them, right?

Lost in thought, Beepaw almost didn't hear her name get called for reassignments. Reassignments? She's being reassigned?!

Her heart raced. What happened to Rainshock? Too busy? Did he ask to not train with her...? A pit began to form in her stomach. Did she do something wrong? She scanned the clearing to find his face, but...no sign of him. Her brows furrowed. Did he leave because of her, too? Just like her mother did...?

"Beepaw, your new mentor is Acornnose."

Perking up at Twilightstar's voice again, the life flooded back into her yellow pools. Acornnose? She looked around once more. Were they here? Who was that?
