Lynxkit’s job dropped. The deputy had given Twistedkit a badger ride? She was so lucky! “Wow, Twilightstar must really like you. Is she a friend of your mother or something?” He had never heard of Twilightstar taking out kits, though maybe Twistedkit was special. The kit frowned when Twistedkit mentioned Luarelpaw. On that topic, Lynxkit added, “I’m sure Luarelpaw was just teasing.” Who could be mean to Twistedkit, she was so nice. |

~ TWISTEDKIT OF WINDCLAN ~
Twistedkit was a bit confused as to why Lynxkit was so excited over her. Nobody had been excited over her before. Mother was always sad, angry, and mad, while Twilightstar and Cowpaw… they were nice and friendly, but they talked about a lot of stuff that made her really confused. Hickorypaw had been excited when he was little. But he had been playing. Twistedkit did think that the leader, deputy, and medicine cat were cool, even though two of them had made her really confused. But they were all so awesome and friendly, and… well, Willowsky was just sick. Yeah, that was it.
“Twilightstar is cool,” Twistedkit squeaked in her distorted voice.
“She isn’t friends with my mother. I don’t know if she likes my mother very much.” It was hard to convey her feelings and emotions, so she just settled on simple speech like this. And then the topic came to Laurelpaw.
“I know she didn’t wanna be mean. Fallownose said she was feeling confusing feelings. I am, too.” Twistedkit didn’t know what else to say. That is, until a question came up in her mind.
“Who’s your mother?” she asked.
“And… is she nice? Does she get mad at you, or bite you?” Twistedkit had to know what other mothers were like, because it was hard to accept that Willowsky wasn’t treating her normally. Twistedkit loved her mother and always would.
