Well, a great warrior would've made atleast some ups and downs in their lives, nobody is that perfect, Vinekit thought

Blazingkit stared at Vinekit as if the young she-cat was mocking him about things he had just said. His squinted blue fire eyes went back to normal as he heard his den-mate telling how confident he is. Smirking, the light brown cat gave a mrrow of laughter. “Of course I have confidence, and don’t forget that!”

Alas, Blazingkit’s bragging moment had ended as Flamepaw popped his day-dream bubble. “What?!” he asked in an unusual higher pitch. Hearing himself, he twisted his head away, embarrassed. He muttered to himself, ignoring any sounds that were not his quiet words. Clearing his throat, the old kit turned back to Flamepaw and meowed, now in his lower pitch, “Y-yes, of course it would be Sparrowflight since Cinderstar is too busy with her two apprentices.”
