Padding slowly into the medicine den, her blue eyes flickered around for Sundust or Rosepaw. Truth be told, the wound on her shoulder wasn't that bad - but she knew if her former apprentice caught her walking around camp with any injury untreated she'd get an earful. Plus, Cinderstar had to be an example for the rest of the Clan, right?

She took a seat near one of the open nests and began to groom the remaining blood that had now dried around the wound, cleaning it up as much as she could for the medicine cat.

Sundust's ears twitched as the sound of someone entering the den caught his attention, and he turned to see none other than Cinderstar pad in. "Hello Cinderstar, I didn't expect to see you in here again so soon." His eyes glimmered, almost amused. Really, his former mentor pushed herself too hard. Sure, they were just 'minor scrapes' here and there, but he'd bet his share of the freshkill that she'd be cursing herself once she reached her elder days.

The tom collected a single leaf of marigold and a small bundle of cobwebs before returning to treat to wound. "I don't suppose you have a story to go along with that gash?" The medicine cat always liked to hear what caused injuries; it helped him determine things he might be able to do in the future in order to help prevent them.

As Frozenheart stepped into the den,a scent of herbs washed over them. Blagh Disgusting,Ew. The smell of blood was much better. They sighed,Spotting the medicine cat and giving a side-eye as they point to their face and the cut that was bleeding lightly. Now Mousepool better follow the plan or They we’re gonna have a meal plan. “Me And Mousepool were attacked by something on our patrol. We both didn’t get a chance to see it as it was unexpectedly swift. I hope it’s dead now. Dumb little creature,it was probably a rabbit or something.”

Sundust had already gone to fetch the marigold as Frozenheart began speaking, having seen the nasty wounds as the two walked in. He listened with intrigue as he began chewing the marigold into a poultice, the he paused for a moment as he heard their explanation. He began applying the paste to the wounds, first to Frozenheart. "You both were attack by a.. rabbit?" He inquired, his voice as monotonous as usual. His eyes narrowed, somewhat suspicious by their somewhat dubious story. Even if the creature had been too fast to see, why in StarClan's name would they assume it to be a rabbit? The rodents weren't exactly known for hunting down patrols. What was there to lie about?

Sundust offered a quick nod in response to the kits gratitude, but no words as he concentrated on pulling the last of the splinters out. He took a poppy seed and slid it towards the kit. "Can you eat this for me? It will help you feel better." He wanted Winterkit to have at least some pain relief before he reset the leg. As the medicine cat waited, he twitched an ear in response to Stormpaw and Mapleleaf's story. "Thank you for clarifying. Perhaps I will have Cinderstar make an announcement next meeting to make it clear that the Thunderwillow is not for kits to play on."

Roosterflame pinned his ear against his head as a fresh twinge of pain appeared, and he let out a small growl of frustration.
Normally, the Warrior hated going into the medicine den, as he knew Sundust and Rosepaw were busy enough without him or some other cat popping in for idle conversation while they had cats to treat, but he couldn’t ignore the fact that his ear had been ripped, and it had also begun to feel warm to the touch, which he knew from experience was not good.
So, as he entered the medicine den, he took a seat near the entrance to wait, not wanting to pull the medicine cats away from whomever they might be treating at the time, he was sure that his little wound could wait, annoying as it was.
As he waited patiently, he looked around the medicine den, nothing the strong scent of herbs and the number of nests for the sick and injured. Roosterflame faintly recalled a slight tug during his apprenticeship towards this place, and it had only intensified as he began his battle training, as he thought he’d never be able to hurt anyone, other clans or not, as it was unethical in his mind, but as he continued his training, that tug lulled, thanks to Oakfrost’s excellent training.
I hope I’m not being silly by coming here for a ripped ear when other have much more important maladies that need to be attended to, He thought to himself.

"Hello Roosterflame," Sundust greeted at the tom entered the den, "give me just a moment." The injury was not severe, from Sundust's quick assessment, so the medicine cat decided to quickly finish sweeping up the old herb scraps before tending to it. "Sorry about that," he apologized as he finally padded over, a marigold leaf in his jaws and wet moss tucked under his chin. "Do you think you could chew this up for me? I need it to be a smooth paste." Sundust allowed the marigold leaf to fall from his mouth to in between Roosterflame's paws, and began using the wet moss to dab at the torn ear. Typically he would not worry about infection from such an average wound, but Sundust could see the dirt from where he was standing, and figured it was better safe than sorry.
