➣ Padding into the familiar clearing of ThunderClan’s camp, the multicolored feline immediately made their way over to the freshkill pile, dropping the small rabbit that they had caught out in Firefly Cove. Brightpath nodded to Foxpaw and Acornpaw, who were carrying their own catches, before seeking out Sparrowflight. Once they spotted the deputy, the slender tortie happily trotted over and dipped their head to her as a respectful greeting. “Hello, Sparrowflight.” Brightpath purred, “Here to report on my successful hunting patrol.” They couldn’t help but enunciate the word ‘successful’, feeling rather proud for their hard work.

“Foxpaw and Acornpaw did wonderfully out there.” The young warrior began, recalling what happened, “Foxpaw was the first to catch something. A mouse, and then later a vole. Acornpaw managed to catch a bird of some kind. He fumbled a little with his technique, but I really do think he could be a flawless hunter with enough practice. I’m very impressed with both of them.” The lean feline remarked genuinely, “I caught a small bunny to wrap things up and then we all headed back home. Nothing but good things to report.” Brightpath kept a constant smile as their expression, hoping Sparrowflight would be pleased with the report. The young torbie warrior hoped to go out hunting again soon, wanting to do more for ThunderClan.
