"What do you mean, you don't know?"
Vixenkit had to awkwardly contort her head and lean off faaaarrrr to the side in order to keep seeing the apprentice's face -- but PLOOF went the kitten. Huffing when colliding with the ground, she was quick the shake her head and get back up to curiously stare at Crowpaw. They were big! So they were supposed to know everything! Why were they acting so weird?
'You don't have to be afraid of me'
Is what she was about to say, when they spoke again.

She shut her maw, sat down and listened with a tilted head. Oop! Serious look! She sat up straight with a forced straight face look. But it was hard. They were saying such silly things! How could she stay serious? How could they stay serious, when they weren't making any sense?
"Of course they wouldn't blow away!"
Breaking her posture, the fluffy kitten chimed her little response.
"They're special petals, right? So that means they wouldn't blow away! And! Uh-"
One... Two... Three... Four... Something... Seven... Something... Something...
"Ten is like... A lot right?? So why wouldn't it go long?"
And honestly, would it even need to be that long? Only, like, a quarter territory maybe!

But, Crowpaw did say it was making them upset. And upset is bad. Remembering that, Vixenkit looked down in thought for a moment. What was she supposed to do about that? She really needed those petals! But making others upset is bad!
"Can't you help me?"
She looked back up.
"If it makes you upset, then you could help me! That always makes me happy!"
She smiled brightly up at Crowpaw, eyes going wide and jumping back up on all fours when she got a super idea;
"We could find more special petals!!"
They did say ten wouldn't make a long trail. The spotted kitten hopefully looked up at the apprentice, bright smile plastered on her maw.
