"That's alright, I'll teach you that later. How about smaller prey, mice, chipmunks, squirrels?" She asked, tipping her head back and parting her maw to breathe in the scents around her. WindClan primarily hunted rabbits, but they had other prey like field mice, small birds, chipmunk, and so on. "I want to see how well you hunt yourself before offering you any tips, go see what you can find, but don't go too far I need to be able to see you." Twilightstar told him, and then glanced over to Laurelpaw.
Lovely, she was being difficult. The signs of displeasure and frustration were easy enough to pick up, but Twilightstar didn't take any of it personally. This wasn't the first time she's had to pry information out of unwilling apprentices. She decided to settle on one problem at a time. "Is the reason you dislike Bagerpaw because he wasn't born in the clan?" She inquired, before adding. "You don't have to answer any of my questions if you don't want to. At the moment I'm just trying to listen and learn, but if you're too annoyed or don't want to share I'm not going to push." She explained with an inquisitive glint in her single eye.

Badgerpaw listened inquisitively as Twilightstar asked her question. She wanted him to hunt, to show off what he knows! Now, this was a challenge he'd gladly accept.
This is my chance to prove to Twilightstar I can live in WindClan, I can't mess up! he puffed out his chest fur and smirked, it didn't take him long for him to taste the air just as Twilightstar had just done. It was fairly easy to detect a mouse or two- not too far away from where the group was standing. Crouching down, the tuxedo tom began to stalk, remembering to stay as quiet as possible. It was actually the easiest thing he found that the Clans did.
Keeping his tail as still as possible and his haunches as low as they could go, Badgerpaw let the wind carry his scent toward camp. It was easy enough, how hard could hunting a mouse be? He had plenty of experience from the twoleg place! Opening his jaws to take in the scent, double-checking his surroundings, the tom made his move and slowed down ever so slightly. Narrowing his eyes (which is something he hardly ever does), Badgerpaw unsheathed his claws and sprinted forward, jumping after only two bounds. A mouse's tail ended up being directly under his paw, so Badgerpaw quickly snapped its neck with a quick blow from his other paw. That was very simple, though he possibly allowed the other animals in the area to know that they were being hunted.
Oops... oh well, Twilightstar will be happy with this mouse. I'm not too far away, am I?
The WindClan apprentice looked back to see that Twilightstar and Laurelpaw were having a conversation. Something regarding Laurelpaw's behavior, he assumed. The only thing he could do was grab his catch and walk as slow as he could to give them both time to themselves in case it was something that wasn't meant for his ears. So that's what he did, though he got closer to them faster than he expected, so he just sat down and began to clean his chest fur smooth. It bothered him to have it ruffled, that was for sure.
