➣ The slender tortie warrior’s ears twitched towards their patrolmate, sensing the coldness in tomcat’s words. However, they did nothing more to respond to Smallheart’s comment and simply kept on waiting for Foxpaw to show up. Once again, it seemed like the she-cat was late to a patrol, and Brightpath was rather tired of waiting any longer. “Come on,” The thinly-framed calico meowed to the other warrior, rising to a standing position, “We’ll do the patrol without Foxpaw. If she wants to skip out on her responsibilities, then she can deal with Copperfire.” There was a certain sternness to Brightpath’s tone, but they said more as they began to walk towards the ThunderClan camp entrance, their tail swishing back and forth impatiently with every step.
