RainySpirit was resting in her nest, both Moonkit and Sandkit safely tucked in next to her, she hadn’t seen her mate since she rushed into camp with those four kits.. I hope she’s doing okay.. LeafNight often volunteered for things over her head, and RainySpirit really hoped that it wasn’t the same in this case. The tortie couldn’t help but wonder what had happened to the kits’ mother, she originally assumed that the mother just abandoned the kits but LeafNight and the kits were all drenched in blood, so that made her doubtful of her original assumption. RainySpirit pushed her thoughts away, LeafNight was perfectly fine and those four kits were being cared for by SunDust and Rosepaw.

She sighed, and leaned down towards her two kits, licking each on the head to gently wake them up. “Come on little ones, feeding time.” she meowed softly before shuffling so that they could access the milk. She probably would need to think about starting to wean them soon- well once they become comfortable walking and talking of course. LeafNight smiled, Moonkit and Sandkit were so precious, she couldn’t understand why anycat wouldn’t like kits, I mean just look at them! So small! So defenceless! So fuzzy!

Her heart almost felt like it was melting, she knew that one day her kits would become apprentice’s and even warriors and not need her protection anymore but she would be there for them always. Even when she joined starclan. If her kits needed her she would do whatever it takes to help them, even if it were to mean fighting the entire dark forest herself. She would do it. I guess this is what a mothers fierce love for her kits is. she thought to herself and purred.

If you wish Moonkit and Sandkit can be able to speak and walk a bit because of how long they’ve been kit’S for, so sorry yet again! (Also Rainy will be fostering a couple kits later too, but that shouldn’t really affect you two much) ]

moonkit sleeped peacefully, as the young kit felt nudged she opened her green eyes, she looked up at her mother smiling" yayfeeding time!" moonkit exclaimed then rushing over to her mother her smile spreaded across, as moonkit looked at her sibling she waited and waited but then got impatient and walked in circles then tumbling down onto her back she giggled
