I don't doubt you came across unruly rouges, but I do not believe you could accurately follow the exact monster that these two were allegedly taken into."
Stepping forward, Sparrowflight picked up Sootkit by the scruff and moved a few steps back. Green eyes turned a challenging look towards the two warriors before her. There were details she needed if she were to believe this story, and so far not much was adding up.
She had confiscated one young and damaged cat, if she needed to take away the other than she would.

Sparrowflight's eyes narrowed slightly as Wildspark spun his tale. It seemed reasonable enough, but she couldn't shake this feeling of unfairness that had lodged itself in her chest; a consistent reminder of what this tom was gifted when her sister was not given the same opportunity.
"I will allow you back now Wildspark," Sparrowflight stated, attempting to stop herself from grinding her teeth over her words. She couldn't allow her personal feelings to interrupt her duties, no matter how much they burned in her chest. "However, if this happens again I will not be so accommodating. You know better than to get close to two-leg place, so I expect you to do better. Now go. Camp is that way."
Turning abruptly with a huff, Sparrowflight bolted into the forest without a glance back. She needed to run off this frustration and not take it out on some poor cat caught in the crossfire of her grief.

A long-suffering sigh released itself from her muzzle as the tan molly looked over the young apprentice while they explained their story.
"You are aware that leaving camp without a warrior is not allowed Wisteriapaw? Your poor choices have impacted not only yourself, but your peers as well."
One more glance across their pelt for any injuries, although it seemed they were relatively fine.
"You may return to Thunderclan, HOWEVER," she stated, tone dry and eyes sharp. "You are on tick duty for the next half-moon. If you break the code again, I will not be so lenient. Now go, Report to Sundust or Rosepaw to organize the mousebile you'll need for tending to the elders."
A final flick of her tail dismissed the young cat, and Sparrowflight turned back to give them an escort back towards camp.

Sparrowflight was... unsettled. Pacing up and down the borders had done little to stem the seemingly constant stream of thoughts and the never-ending tides of grief that snuck up on her before dragging her down into their empty, longing depths.
Everyone was gone. Her mother, her adoptive siblings, Ridgeclaw, and now Cindersky... What had she done to warrant the wrath of the stars? And how could she fix it?
However, the slightest of familiar scents caught her attention in her downwards spiral of thoughts. A scent that froze her in place for but a moment before her paws began moving of there own accord, racing towards the source of the scent before skidding to a halt as the cat in question came into view.
"Tulippaw..." she breathed out, voice hoarse and disbelieving. "Where?... How did... Oh, stars damn it all."
With no other warning she rushed forward to put her head on her younger sister's shoulder, eyes misting up at the unexpected reunion.
"I'm both terribly upset with you and incredibly grateful to see you in one piece," she managed to croak out alongside a forced chuckle. "Never, EVER do that to me again... Please."

Was that a kit?...
Brown paws rushed through the underbrush as the sound of weeping and wailed apologies began to sound throughout the trees close to camp. Pushing past a rather thick piece of undergrowth, Sparrowflight finally caught sight of Mottlekit and quickly moved to his side with a concerned rumble in her chest.
"Shhh Mottlekit, you're safe," the tan molly murmured, giving a few comforting licks as she checked him over for injuries. "You look hungry young one. I imagine your adventure didn't go as planned?"

"Well, I should hope you'd want to see them again," Sparrowflight stated, dropping down from a nearby tree as the familiar apprentice made his way back into the territory. "If you didn't, I'd have some questions. However, what possessed you to go wandering off on your own Stormpaw? I seem to remember you had a rather good head on your shoulders when it came to following the rules..."
Thunderclan's apprentices should know better. Especially with all the recent outsider activity and Cindersky's deadly run-in with the badger.

These rogues were becoming a real thorn in her side. After the flurry of recent activity, Sparrowflight had taken to patrolling Thunderclan's borders as often as she could. If she didn't find outsiders attempting to sneak in, she certainly found members of her clan that seemed to whisk from place to place like the wind. A rather loud yowl of her name, caught her attention and she changed course in order to meet whoever it was screeching up a storm.
Imagine her surprise when two of Thunderclan's missing queens turned up in the middle of the forest.
"Lavendermask. Darkmoon," she started, eyes narrowing as she looked them both over. "Where in Starclan's name have you been?"

Tail twitching back and forth irritably, Sparrowflight paused in her patrol along the border as a familiar face appeared in her periphery. Thankfully it wasn't another rogue, but she could never be too careful these days.
"Harefire," she called out, tone stern as the tom waltzed right back across the border without waiting for an invitation. "Where have you been? It's been almost a moon since you've been in camp."

"Sparrowflight!" It was good to see familiar faces again, even if they did not seem all that happy. "I was... well, events called for me to leave without warning. I had to help a young tom get home, and had no time to check with you about it. I lost track of time for a while. Sorry, Sparrowflight."
