It was the middle of the day and Petuniafire kept to the nursery. While she was excited for her babies to come any day part of her wanted to just cry knowing her mother was going to miss yet another important day. She wanted Heronflight's support. She wanted to feel her fur next to hers, telling her it was going to be okay. Holding in her emotions she buried her head in her white paw, hoping to just hide from the world. There was only one cat left here in her family. Her father was gone like the wind and she just felt all alone. Petuniafire felt a lonely tear and she used her paw to wipe it away. She had to stay strong for her babies. She loved them even with them not even being here yet. They were her family, her pride and joy.
