No, not half dead! Bumbleflight mentally scolded himself. Not... Yet!!! The tom huffed as he finally crossed through the camp entrance, sides heaving from the effort. No doubt the two cats made a strange and worrying sight: Bumbleflight was stumbling and sore, and his claws were stained with blood (who's blood? He couldn't tell anymore) but Brightpath had the worst of it. That fox trap that caught them had mainly been ruined with Bumbleflight's attempts to free his friend, but the wire still hugged Brightpath's throat tightly, and just the bloody sight of his friend was enough to make the dark brown tabby's own throat constrict. Why was there so much blood??? Why wasn't it stopping?!

As gently as he could, Bumbleflight lowered Brightpath down to the ground, stumbling over himself when a shot of pain shot up his injured paws. He ignored it, however, and instead looked wildly around the clearing, his amber eyes wide with uncharacteristic fear. "Hey! I need some help here!!!"

Rainpaw was resting in the clearing, remembering playing with his littermates when he saw that his mentor was stumbling into camp with a cat hoisted on his dark shoulders. Alarmed, the young tom rushed over to Bumbleflight; fear and concern clinging to his pelt like pine sap. Although Rainpaw didn't know who the warrior was that Bumbleflight dragged in, he knew that his dark tabby mentor was close with the heavily injured warrior.

"Bumbleflight, you and your friend should go to the medicine den!" he worriedly told his mentor, examining him for any injuries like the ones Brightpath got. Of course, he couldn't see any visible injuries. They both need help...
