Willowfeather listened in on Pikestar’s words. Name change, yup, she’d heard earlier. Word seemed to spread fast. Though her jaw nearly fell open when he gave his second announcement. Sundrop! Branchlight, And their kittens, Goosekit, Sunsetkit, and Chirpkit. Wait… What!? The fluffy Molly just barely stopped herself from flying into the sky once she heard the name. It all made SENSE now. Why hadn’t she guessed this would happen?
Are you KIDDING ME FOXPAW!? Her thoughts screamed, as she tried to put on a normal expression. Didn’t her apprentice take any bother about the fact that Sundrop had invaded, like, twice!?
Willowfeather finally forced her mind from Sundrop to his kits. She knew she couldn’t possibly be harsh to a cat below eight moons… but a whole three tiny Sundrops. Ugh.
She glanced back up at Pikestar, and relaxed at his next news. Marigoldleap was joining them. Willowfeather smiled. Great, Fawnpaw would have someone to train her! At least Sundrop and his family weren’t the only cats coming in.
Willowfeather sighed. Now she’d have to treat the Tom with respect. And his family.
