Now getting into the rhythm, the kit closed his eyes and hummed louder so that he could not hear the shuddering bushes. He stopped instantly as he bumped into a soft wall and blew out air as his back thumped against the grass. Doing so had also made his eyes open up. Standing in front of Blazingkit was a tan she-cat, staring at him with those awful green eyes - no cat should go through such a horrific experience of having green eyes; something about them gave his fur the shivers.
Sparrowstar! Did she hear the large baby tom hum and watched him hop?
Blazingkit shot up from his resting ground and licked his chest fur to hide his embarrassment. After a few licks and believing that she saw nothing, he gave the loud leader -yes he still remembers that ThunderClan meeting!- the stinky eyes. “Does it matter?”
“No, of course not!” he snapped at her as he gave no chances of her speaking. “And of course I’m smart, that’s why I searched most of the territories.” Oblivious to revealing his reason for being out of camp, he stuck his reddish-pink tongue out, aiming at Sparrowstar. Slurping his tongue back in, he scoffed at the annoying leader’s mention of rogues. “They don’t scare,” he meowed coolly, or that was supposed to sound coolly. What really came out was a stutter edged with fear.
