High Rank Announcement [#hrannouncement]Well... it seemed she was missing more cats than she expected. Green eyes flicked over each congregated member of her clan as they took their place near the base of the Thunderwillow before she bothered to start. This was starting to worry her... If cats kept disappearing and dying, she wasn't entirely sure if they'd be able to make it through leafbare unscathed.
Taking a deep breath to center herself, she decided to start with a few of the simpler matters of the day before getting into her worries.
"I have several things to cover today," she stated, voice clear as she spoke over the clearing. "But first, we will start off with a few cats who are moving onto a new phase in their life. Rainflower and Mapleleaf have informed me that they are expecting kits, and as such they will be relinquishing their warrior duties and moving to the nursery as our newest queens."
She gave the aforementioned she-cats a nod of acknowledgement before continuing. She wouldn't bring up the fact that having kits right as leafbare started was a risky ordeal. Any cat with sense would know that and hopefully have enough decorum not to make a scene about it.
"Additionally, I would like Shadefur to step forward."
Stars above, she spent the last night racking her brain for the proper ceremonial words for this. It had been far too long since Thunderclan had had the opportunity to preformed this right.
"Shadefur," she started, green eyes softening as she looked down on the cat below her. "Is it your wish to give up the name of a warrior and go to join the elders?"
