Bumbleflight jumped in surprise. Having attempted to keep quiet to not wake up any sleeping kits or queens, or annoy any of them, it came to him as more than a little shock to hear someone greet him so enthusiastically. Looking up, the dark brown tabby tom's amber eyes scanned the nursery and landed on Rainflower. Ah, she was a new queen, wasn't she? Seemed rather enthusiastic about it as well, and asking him how his day was.
Grabbing the pigeon in his jaws, Bumbleflight brought the prey to the queen, coming to sit in front of her.
"It's been going well. The weather is great, yes. There's even a slight breeze off at Giant's Rest, so that makes it even better. And how about you, Rainflower? Settling into life as a queen just fine?"
