Big, blue eyes stared at Slatestripe's dark pelt approaching her from the other side of the crowd, after giving his new apprentice a quick nod. She wasn't really in a talkative mood right now - well, she was
never in that - but she felt secretly comforted a bit by the fact that the warrior had actually come to congratulate with her. Now the absence of Lilyleaf was less piercing, even though she knew that he would soon leave her and go to his duties.
And now, I too have my duties. She reflected.
Mintpaw dipped his head to Slatestripe to greet him, and acknowledged his words with a twitch of her whiskers. She turned to Fawnleap, curious to see if her mentor knew him and what her reaction would be.
