Weedkit waved his slim tail merrily, alarming smile still upon his face. He padded right up to the she-cat and spoke in his young British accent.

``Hello. I noticed that you looked awfully frightened of something, so I came over to check on you! Oh- I'm Weedkit by the way. Who are you?``

He said all of this at quite an alarming rate, which was odd. He was normally a very timid cat, and yet here he was talking this poor kit's ear off.

Goldenkit wanted to tell Den-mate Weedkit to stop talking before her ears fell off, but her polite nature and the memories of a kind Flurrywind forced the ginger kit to accept it. Why did Weedkit forget who Goldenkit was? Was he trying to torture her of being a kit with no one to remember her? She played along however; she will play along till her escape. “I-I’m Goldenkit. I’m alirhgt, is just that I miss Friend Patchkit.”
