Ivysnake turned away from the kit and continued grooming her short, dense fur when the sound of tiny pawsteps heading her way caught her attention. She turned to find Blazingkit looking at her, speaking absolute nonsense.
Snakeivy? Her sharp amber eyes narrowed slightly. The kit should know the names of his medicine cats, and ShadowClan kits shouldn't be babbling such nonsense. They should have some maturity - or if they didn't, learn some.
"It's Ivysnake, not Snakeivy," she meowed flatly.
"And I'm the medicine cat of ShadowClan. Learn how to speak properly." Her kits - whenever she found a suitable tom to sire them with, and had enough time in general - better not be like this. Ivysnake had never been a fan of kits, but they were the future of the Clan. But she only wanted to deal with her own, thanks. Not the kits of other cats.
The Clan seems incompetent enough as it is, so if I need to do every cats' job - which includes shaping its kits up - then so be it, she thought, trying not to roll her eyes with annoyance.
