Cinderpaw cracked open her eyes again as Sundust dropped an assortment of herbs for her to take nearby. The idea that they would ease her pain was enticing, but... did she really need to be a drain on Thunderclan? Especially with leafbare coming?
She could imagine the jeers from her clanmates that would warrant. The apprentice stared at the herbs for a few more moments before turning away, curling in towards herself and feeling the jarring lack of tail around her body.
"'M fine," she muttered, eyes desperately avoiding Sundust's form.
"Already caused 'nough pro--blems. Just ne--ed sleep."
And as the medic poked her with what she hoped was a well-meaning remark, she could feel her claws dig into the moss underneath her. It would probably be right for her to be locked away for the rest of her sorry re-existence. Thunderclan had tasted what life was like without her, and she wasn't surprised that they wanted it back.
