Foxtail heard the wail from Fernwillow and saw the unsheathed claws digging into her back from the kit. “WHAT THE HECK,” he yelled. “GET OFF OF HER CLOUDKIT! SOMEONE COME HELP CLOUDKIT IS GOING CRAZY!”

She let out a yelp of pain and surprise as the claws dug into her back. “Foxtail! Stormclaw!” Fernwillow cried out. A small trickle of blood fell down her back in a slow and steady stream as she fainted to the floor.
