Teakit was laying down in a patch of sunlight, just outside the nursery, peace evident on the young kits face as the sun light seemed to illuminate the tom. His breathing was even, quiet, peaceful, relaxed, he dreamed he was sitting in a field of tulips, daisies, and roses, not a cloud in the sky, sunlight gently filtering down to the snowshoe as he padded through the field, nothing but a peaceful expression planted on his face.

Rosekit poked her head out of the nursery. She spotted the tom-kit called Teakit. She has never really talked to him since she was shy compared to a lot of the other kits. She took a deep breath and padded out confident. She was about to stop one paw length away from him, but she tripped like the clumsy kit she was and fell on top of him.
