She was about to have kits, but..." Gulping, her voice went hoarse as she begun to talk, trying not to let out any sort of sobbing as she talked. "She was caught meeting him- they took her. Singenight took her for some sort of meeting with a dangerous cat, one who would help their twisted sense of a clan- she was the bait." The she-cat choked, attempting not to cry as she continued to speak about her friend- "She never came back. They killed her. I ended up taking her prefix in some sort of tribute." Taking a deep breath, she wheezed as her story ended, having broken her promise to herself that she wouldn't get emotional about it. "I got over it, though- she's in my memory, but I... I can love again. Because even if you're caught in tragedy, getting over it is being able to talk about it- or it's being able to forget it completely. Either of those things work, and it's fine if you don't want to talk about it." Taking a deep breath, she looked into Blazingstorm's eyes as she stopped talking for a short second, trying to catch her breath before uttering one last sentence.
"A bit of an information dump, huh? ...Sorry about that."

Blazingstorm frowned a little as his eyes rested on Galespring again as she started talking. It was funny how she seemed to read him like a book, he kept his love life very secret so it almost took him by surprise. "Oh Galespring," he spoke softly at first, his ears drooping from the story. He never realized that was how she got her name or what she had been through. "I guess everyone's got their sad stories, huh," he spoke, a specific scene replayed in his head. Sure everyone needed to move on like she said, but he never moved on from the loss of his closest friend and fatherly figure. He felt he was the blame for what happened. Enough he scolded himself, straightening his posture and leaning in, giving Galespring a small lick on her ear. "Don't worry about it, we're friends," Blazingstorm replied with a half smile. Underneath that shell he was still the same ol' Blazingstorm who didn't know when he crossed the line and didn't understand personal space. The ginger warrior didn't know what to say next, he was at a loss for words now as he gazed at the ebony warrior. He was seeing a new feline though, someone who had been broken once, just as he had, but also someone who was strong enough to move on. That was the difference between them. He held on for longer than he needed.
