Finally, she spotted a familiar form; Blackgaze's dark pelt, lounging at the edge of the open area. A small smile flickered across her maw, and she moved towards the feline, her paws skirting easily over the packed snow which had began to freeze into a thin layer of ice. Having crossed the clearing easily enough, she settled down next to the deputy, a small, respectful distance away. "Hello, Blackgaze,"she mewed, in a soft tone that still announced her presence. "How are you today?" The question was one overused, but was a meaningful one nonetheless. She was generally curious on how the darkly colored warrior was faring, considering her recent promotion. Cloversplash shifted her weight to a more comfortable position, her leg having begun to cramp underneath its own weight. Tail swishing, her attention turned back towards Blackgaze, as she waited patiently for the she-cat's response.
Blackgaze's ear twitched to show that Cloversplash had her attention, not bothering to blankly look at the cat she couldn't see. The dark pelted warrior gave a soft humming noise, her cat-like smile widening softly. "I'm fine." she said softly, taking a moment to differentiate Cloversplash's voice from the voices of other warriors she remembered in her head as voices were the only way she could tell who was who while she was in camp due to the overwhelming smell of RiverClan itself. It tended to be easy until she met so many other cats who's voices swarmed in her head. "Hello. How are you today, Cloversplash?" she asked softly after quickly figuring out who had sat next to her. She took the polite route at this moment, not sure if she should be her awkward self for the moment. That would be better for later in the conversation, if it lasted long.
