Charlie heard the twig snap, and almost fell off the log in surprise. And then she did. She looked up from the ground, spitting dirt out of her mouth. The girl sat up, pulling on her socks and shoes. "Hullo!" She called out happily. Strangers were just friends she hadn't met!
