Wingnettle (So you can read what Flameheart has to say!)
Flameheart stayed silent as Beastwatcher and Sparrowstar finished up the discussion with Sharppaw's situation and dipped her head in confirmation of her leader's question.
There's a lot to be covered... Her pink nose twitched as she organized all the mental notes she took before coming inside the warm den the tan and brown she-cat slept in.
Right... one thing at a time...
"There's a lot I wish to discuss... Foxpaw, for one. I've been helping her train because her mentor apparently hasn't been doing anything. Cardinalspice has seemed to have gone missing, but regardless, even before Cardinalspice left ThunderClan, Foxpaw hasn't gotten any training until she came to me. I taught her how to climb trees before coming here to inform you of her lack of training."
"Not only that, but I also had to scold both Galekit and Blazingpaw. It seemed they got into some sort of insult war and they both got carried away. When I stepped in to intervene, Galekit was upset and crying. I scolded both of them and took Galekit back to Rainfall after he apologized. Blazingpaw, however, refused to apologize and sprinted off to StarClan knows where."
While we're discussing, I should bring my family up... she paused for a moment before continuing to allow Sparrowstar a moment to think about all these instances.
"And... before all this, I discovered I had family in ThunderClan," she sighed. "Deadflame's my father. He told me all about my relatives while we were on a walk. My niece is Lotuskit and my nephew is Beankit. They're the son and daughter of my older brother, Jack, who I think we should watch out for. He's dangerous from what Deadflame said and murdered my two littermates. While we're on the subject... Deadflame left ThunderClan. He wanted to live with my other brother, Echo, instead of becoming an elder."
The news of Deadflame would probably come as a shock to the older ThunderClanner, just as it had for Flameheart, but she decided to move the conversation forward because she didn't want to linger too long in her emotions once again like she had when talking with Sootfur about it all.
"Lotuskit and Beankit are the only blood relatives I have here in ThunderClan. Would it be possible if, when the time comes... I can mentor one of them?" the young classic tabby Maine Coon looked at her paws before continuing. "It's the least I can do, I want them to grow up responsible and loyal, I don't want them to end up like their father or grandfather. ThunderClan deserves to have good warriors, and I believe I can contribute to ThunderClan by mentoring one of my relatives. My father brought me here when I was a kit, I believe this could be one of the ways I pay my debt to ThunderClan. As a thank you."
This was a strange request to make, especially since the young warrior hadn't been a warrior for very long. In fact, she was just now coming up on her second moon of warriorhood.
I suspect it'll feel strange for quite some time, being a warrior, but everyone must've felt like this at least once.
"My father broke the code by taking a kittypet as a mate. He broke the code by abandoning ThunderClan when we needed him the most. My brother is a murderer and probably feared by cats who live around him since, according to Deadflame, he calls himself Jack o' Lantern. My mother abandoned me after my littermates were killed, which is why Deadflame brought me here. I want to change the rule-breaking history of my family and form it into something I can be proud of. By mentoring my niece or nephew, I can do that."
