Both of these young she-cats more than deserved this promotion, so the strong affirmation to her question made her chest swell in pride. A quick leap brought her down to the same level as the two cats before her and she gently rested her muzzle on each of their heads as she spoke.
"Softpaw [ [I @WinterMara[/I] ], from this moment on you will be known as Softsky. StarClan honors your kindness and empathy, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan."
"Emberpaw [ [I @Rizo[/I] ], from this moment on you will be known as Embertalon. StarClan honors your bravery and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan."
Stepping back she allowed a few moments for her clanmates to cheer for the newly appointed warriors before continuing with a dip of her head.
"Tonight you will preform your vigil at the camp entrance. You both have excelled in your training; even with the trials and tribulations that have plagued your youth, you have persevered and overcome them. I am very proud of you two."
A final nod of acknowledgement was given to the newly appointed warriors before she sprung back up to her place amongst the branches of the willow.
"I would also like to announce a new sort of training that I would like implemented in camp for Thunderclan's kits," she started, green eyes flicking to both the kits and queens present in the clearing. "We have had an ongoing problem with kits wandering out of camp, disobeying rules of safety, and a few general behaviour issues that I would like to avoid in future. Small and simple lessons outside of the bounds of the nursery seem, in my mind, the most efficient way to proceed here."
"While kits will only be required to complete two of these lessons, I would encourage them to seek out any and all of the training available to them to get a head start on their apprenticeship."
Pausing a moment to collect her thoughts, Sparrowstar continued.
"There will be six types of lessons taught. Clan Etiquette, Clan Relations, Clan History, Warrior Code, Herbs, and Hunting. Obviously these topics will need to be simplified for younger ears, but I have no doubt that each of you are well equipped to provide such training."
"If there is anything outside of what I've already stated that you believe should be added to the education, I would welcome you to see me after the meeting to pitch those ideas. This will be a rather involved task focused within the bounds of camp, so I'd greatly appreciate it if the Queens and Elders took to teaching them, however, Warriors are welcome to teach as long as they are keeping up with the training of their apprentices, and apprentices are welcome to act as assistants."
Giving a brief knowing glance to Cinderpaw, the tan molly adjusted her paws before continuing.
"If you would like to be more heavily involved in this undertaking, I would appreciate volunteers."
