The young she-cat happily watched as her former denmates, Softpaw and Emberpaw, took their vows and earned their warrior names. Just a moon ago, Flameheart and Sootfur had done the same. No doubt, this was worth all the extra training Softsky and Embertalon had done to get to this point. They’d certainly turn into promising warriors for ThunderClan.

“Embertalon! Softsky! Embertalon! Softsky!” She called out, eager to start the chanting of her new denmate’s names.

After both warriors had been celebrated by the Clan, Flameheart’s ears perked as she heard about the new system which would be implemented into the Clan. While it was certainly interesting, she took great thought into ways she could help the younger generations of her Clan.

“I’ll volunteer to teach kits the basics of hunting!” she rose to her paws and looked up at Sparrowstar ( @Jayvines ), eager to do more for ThunderClan.

Rainpaw

Rainpaw glanced around. None of his family had shown up for the meeting, but that was okay. They didn’t have to come, it wasn’t necessary mandatory. But he did hope Cinderpaw was somewhere in the crowd. He liked the she-cat and wished she enjoyed some parts of Clan life. Turning his attention back to the newly named warriors, the young tabby tom happily yowled out their names in congratulations.

”Embertalon! Softsky! Embertalon! Softsky!”

Quietkit heard the commotion from inside the nursery, and she blinked awake. She had passed out pretty soon after she had been brought back from being missing for a few moons and slept soundly through the night and a good part of the day. Getting to her paws she gave a small yawn and poked her head out, initially confused as to what was going on. Her eyes widened when she realized that new warriors were being appointed and a meeting was being held. How did she sleep through all this?? There was probably so much she had missed and, now feeling a bit guilty, she slowly padded up to the crowd of cats. Hopefully she hadn't missed any important announcements.

Quietkit's head turned slightly as she stopped at the edge of the crowd, hesitating. She didn't see anyone she recognized, and she suddenly felt very nervous and anxious. She desperately wanted to see a familiar face, and she started scanning through the cats that were gathered. Finally spying Rainpaw, relief surged over her, and she tentatively made her way over him. She gave a few cats small, polite smiles if she brushed by them and finally sat near Rainpaw, anxiety still fluttering in her stomach, though it was less noticeable now that she was with someone she knew. She tipped her head slightly and gave him a warm smile before glancing up to hear what Sparrowstar was saying.
