Buttercupkit snickered at Risingkit’s messed up fur.
What a furball! “Nice going!” She smirked. Her amusement quickly changed to suspicion however, as he asked another kit to join them.
Cowslipkit? Never heard of her. She narrowed her eyes at the other molly as she scampered towards the ball. Did Risingkit know her? There was no way to tell. The dappled molly had ignored Cowslipkit’s first assertion as the queen of mossball. I mean how could one even test that? There wasn’t even a way to win this game. But now it was undeniable. She would have to take the new kit’s crown. However, she didn’t want Risingkit to hate her, for some reason. So she would have to go about this carefully. A resolve she wasn’t used to.
Sliding forward, Buttercupkit kicked the ball away from Cowlslipkit. Although she hadn’t thought too far ahead, which became obvious because it didn’t roll towards Risingkit either. Instead it landed in between the other two.
Rats! She was still too young to fully have control of the ball! She dug her claws into the ground, trying to hide her frustration.
