Quietpaw seemed a bit... shy, but Sootfur could see excitement in her eyes and he hoped he would make a good impression with her. He was determined to teach her everything he knew, and was already looking forward to tell Flameheart everything after their first training session. But for now, he had to think about this.

"Uhm..." He mumbled, slightly confused at Quietpaw's weird gestures. He'd never seen anyone move their paws like that, except maybe for... Cowpaw. I may have seen him do it, but I'm not sure...
"Well, if you have any questions you're free to ask me. I'll have to think for a bit about organizing your training, but we'll probably start right immediately with a territory tour." He concluded with a wide smile, excited to lead out an apprentice for the first time.

I'm a mentor now! It still felt so weird...
