She had just eaten a sparrow not more than an hour ago, and now that she was full and content, she wanted some action. There was nothing more thrilling than good ol’ adrenaline rushing through your veins.
Unfortunately there didn’t seem to be much out here on the plains, and Mamba shrugged as she continued forward. From what she could see, it was empty— wait a second, was that another cat? Mamba immediately brightened up, and she raced towards the stranger, skidding to a stop and pausing for a second to catch her breath. “Hey there!” She gushed energetically. “I was jus’ about to give up on findin’ somethin’ to do out here!” She exclaimed, fixing the gold and black cat with a mischievous look. “Was jus’ gonna go find some trouble to get into. Nothing like a little danger to get the chill outta your veins!” She said, green eyes gleaming. “Wanna join??”

Orion turned in surprise at the stranger. They must've come from down wind, they hadn't smelled them coming. He dipped his head in acknowledgment. "Hello," he said. She thought that this cat was pretty...exciting? Or energetic. But they definitely seemed talkative. Orion guessed they'd met their talkative cat after all. The look in the stranger's eyes unnerved them. It reminded Orion of some troublemaking cats. This cat must also be a...hm. Something that does a lot of fun things. Orion would have to find the word later. But first, a question because he would like to understand this cat. "Why are you looking for trouble?" he asked, studying the black cat up and down. His eyes picked out a few scars. Did this cat get into fights? She hoped not. The last thing she needed was that kind of trouble.
The spotted cat paused for a moment in their reverie to feel the air. It was cold out. She guessed she'd been too busy running around to truly feel the bite of the cold. Orion fixed the black cat with a stare, calculating the risks. But oh, that takes too long. Besides, the cat seemed pretty nice. Orion sighed. Fair enough. Throwing caution to the wind, he said, "Well, alright. I guess I'll join." Orion flicked his ears as a bit of wind gusted momentarily. They jumped down from the tree stump, meeting the stranger at their level. "First, though, what's your name?" they inquired politely. Guess they should've done that first before agreeing to any shenanigans.
