Flameheart didn't bother to drop her catches off at the pile. Instead, she went straight for the nursery to feed the kits and queens. Dropping off her measly mice, she sighed and looked at the queens, helpless disappointment lingering in her gaze. "It's not much, but the kits could have a few bites, and the remaining could go to the rest of you. I tried my best to look for more, but with this darned limp, I can't push myself too hard."

"Snow's on its way, so do your best to keep warm." Dipping her head to her Clanmates, the young warrior turned around and went to the warrior's den to get some sleep while the snow-filled clouds settled in.
